KATIE'S story and the charity formed in memory of her have touched many, many people.
Without their generosity and support, The Katie Trust would not have grown to what it is today.

Katie age 5 - October 1997

It would, of course, be impossible to list everyone who has helped us since we launched in 1999, but there are a number of companies and individuals to whom we owe a very special thank you. These include:

  • PTP Ltd of Basildon, Essex: PTP have continually supported us by paying for much of the merchandise we have available, office equipment (including our computer system), this website and countless other overheads.
Richard Dytham
  • THE Richard Dytham Memorial Fund: Richard (pictured left) from Morpeth, in Northumberland, died at the age of 11 from a medulloblastoma tumour in October 1999. He was treated at Newcastle General Hospital and was often on Ward 24 at the same time as Katie. Since he died his parents Lynn and Dennis, and their family and friends, have worked tirelessly to raise money for The Katie Trust and regularly donate money to us.
  • DARLINGTON and District Motor Club: The club have chosen us s their nominated charity since 2001 and, as well asdonating an amazing £5,000 in that time, have helped raise our profile in that drivers competing in the Northern Saloon and Sports Car Championship carry Katie Trust stickers on their cars.
  • VISION Press: Much of the success of our annual Christmas card sales is down to the generosity of Vision Press of Middlesbrough who produce the cards free of charge.
  • ANNE GREY and Lyons Financial Management of Hetton-le-Hole, Tyne and Wear: Anne has organised many fund-raising activities in memory of her cousin's daughter, Katie Wright, who died from cancer at the age of three. In the summer of 2002 she brought the FA Cup to her office and visitors were charged to have their photograph holding it - all money received was given to us. She is pictured with KT chairman Martin Neal with the famous trophy.

WE continue to enjoy the support of countless others too, including;
We give our grateful thanks and appreciation to them all.
